I wasn’t even a twinkle in anyone’s eyes, when Hitler rose to power, and the world went to war. I know of people, relatives, who fought in that war, and who were living testaments to the horror, Hitler and his Nazi’s, inflicted on millions of people.

And yet today, there are many who denounce it, who claim it never happened, and yet, I know it did. Yet today, so many do indeed feel it was not real, that it didn’t happen, because they cannot accept how any nation could do such a thing. We have forgotten the horrors of war, become immune to its atrocities, because we choose to do so. It just seems easier to deny such atrocities happened, than it does to believe the truth.

It is easier to justify support for nations like Iran, or to support Hamas & Hezbolleh, if we ignore what hate has led to. Israel does exist today, not because the world thought Jews should have their own homeland, BUT BECAUSE THE WORLD FELT THE GUILT FOR ALLOWING HITLER TO MASSACRE SO MANY.

Now the world wants to forget it, so they can drop their support, so they can appease those who have the oil, that fuels their economy. They ignore the constant cries from Arab Leaders who demand the extermination of the Jewish State, just as Hitler shouted his aim to eliminate every Jew in the Reich.

Then too, there is the need to be politically correct. After all, we don’t want another oil embargo, like we had in the seventies, or do we? I mean in some sense, what we went through not even a year ago, was no different, with oil hitting over $150 a barrel, and why? Not because the Arabs were threatening us, but because Wall Street was busy speculating, and driving up the price, which in turn has almost led to an entire collapse of the world economies.

Then comes this email, with this Power Point Slideshow.

I dont normally do this, but in all honesty, it is something worth viewing, simply because it is so important. Today, we are ignoring the history, and by doing that, we are running head onto repeating the same mistakes, made back in the 1930’s that led to a world war. Today’s world is more dangerous, because we have forgotten the truth.  Eisenhower was right, when he had these pictures taken, and in many ways, prophetic too. As there are many who are voicing exactly what he said would happen, that people would forget, would deny that it could have happened.

As Stephen Harper moves to abolish our Human Rights Commission, and remove sexual orientation from the Hate Crime Law, think about this powerpoint slideshow. This is what happens when there is no protection from the majority, when Government abdicates its obligation to ALL OF ITS PEOPLE.  Hate is real, as the Nazi’s showed the world. LET US NOT FORGET THAT.
