So says our Health Minister, and yet, clinics are closing early, are without the vaccine, so one has to wonder, if this is not what Goebbells referred to as Reich Minister during the Nazi Reign. Which was simply, TELL THE LIE LOUD ENOUGH, OFTEN ENOUGH, & PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE IT AS THE TRUTH.  Guess our Minister of Health studied her Goebbells (Hitler’s Minister of Propoganda) well, as did most of her colleagues in the Harper Conservative Party.

“There is not a shortage of vaccine,” she said. “Our goal is to have vaccinated every Canadian who needs and wants it by Christmas. This will be an incredible help to us in the fight against the spread of H1N1.” ( CBC News )

To be fair to the Harper Regime, it is true that the run on getting the shots, is due to those not listed as a Priority rushing to get their shot. YES, that will create shortages, but then, when you don’t properly explain the need, when you hold back delivery for weeks, you are going to have people in a panic. The result is they are going to rush the ramparts, to protect themselves.

IF the Harper Goverment had done more public advertising, instead of touting its Action Plan, that is nothing but a phony stimulus package of tax cuts, maybe there would not have been the run at the Clinics.  Course you won’t get our Health Minister acknowledging that, nor will you get Stephen Harper admitting that his Micro Managing of Government has caused this entire nightmare.

After all, people might not believe the lie then.
