Stephen Harper complains that Parliament is growingly dysfunctional, and he’ll have to make a decision on whether or not to seek a new mandate, to help correct that dysfunction. Is Parliament truly not working, or is it that they are simply tired of listening to Stephen Harper’s arrogance, threats, and LIES?

Speaking in Newfoundland and Labrador, Harper said Parliament is becoming increasingly dysfunctional, laying most of the blame on Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion and his party. (source - CBC News)

This from a man who has Conservative members crash a Parliamentary Hearing, have to be escorted out, because they were rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. Members who REFUSE to appear before Parliamentary Committees because they believe THEY ARE ABOVE PARLIAMENT.

Dysfunctional?

A government that sees nothing wrong in letting mining companies dump their toxic waste into our pristine fishing & resort lakes, all so they can save money.

A government that bends over backwards to help a wealthy real estate seller caught in the Mexican Judicial system, but refuses to defend a Canadian CHILD tortured by the United States.

A government who scrapped the Koyota Accord and has yet to offer any valid replacement plan for it, while at the same time knocking the only alternative plan out there, by Stephane Dion.

A government who allowed the sale of the last remaining Steel Company in Canada, which then posted a profit immediately after being sold.

A government that has insisted on SECRET HEARINGS over abuses & torture of Canadian Citizens by the United States.

A government that insists we need to bring in Foreign Cheap Labor, because the Oil Patch needs more workers, even though our Unemployment Rate went up.

A government that has allowed HIGH FUEL PRICES TO CONTINUE TO RISE, because it doesn’t believe there is any conspiracy, or collusion between the Oil Companies, or that its effect will do any damage. Hence why our surplus dropped, and the cost of living plus inflation rose due to those HIGH FUEL COSTS.

A government that shields Brian Mulroney who TOOK $300,000 while in Office, because he is a good friend of Stephen Harper.

A government that opens up the Telecommunication Airwaves to supposedly bring about competition, only after being lobbied by non other than Brian Mulroney. A Government that replaced the previous Minister who was opposed to the plan, again because Brian Mulroney objected.

A government that made billions on the sale of airwaves, but won’t step in to stop the price gouging by Rogers or Telus, saying that we can simply find a different plan if we don’t like their new fees.

Talk about ARROGANCE!

Dysfunctional? YES STEPHEN, YOU & YOUR REGIME ARE INDEED DYSFUNCTIONAL.
