Unifying Religion?
The Pope seems to say one thing, but you know he means something else. Like his supposed unwillingness to get into the debate waging among Anglicans, on controversial issues such as ordaining Women as Bishops, to accept Gay Clergy, and to accept Gay Marriages. From what little I know of this Pope, I’d say he is pretty happy about the division, because he wants all those 77 million faithful to return to his Church, where he can poison even more minds with his warped sense of what God is about.
Benedict said he did not want to “interfere” in the debate.
Still, the Vatican on Tuesday said the decision by the Church of England to allow women to become bishops will be an obstacle to its reconciliation with the Roman Catholic Church. The Vatican does not permit the ordination of women. (source - CNN News)
Personally I think he wants to see this division, to have many so called ‘Conservative Anglicans‘ become dissatisfied with their Church, so it will be easier to sway them to come over to his Church. To return to the fold so to speak. Then he would indeed wield a big stick, when it comes to interfering with Civilian Governments, as he has done in Italy. Where he caused the downfall of the elected Government.
This is exactly what the Catholic Church did in Ancient Times, back in the Middle Ages. You remember that from history, where they led Crusades against the non believers in the Middle East? Not much different rhetoric today from this supposed ex-Nazi, who calls Islam a religion of Radicals & Hate.
Like his Church is any less Hateful? Radical?
How many kids are attacked for being different? How many schools are under lawsuits because they oppose intolerances, bullying? All in the Name of God? Hell how many wars have existed in History, all based on the intolerances taught by this man and his predecessors? The entire division today between Muslim and Christian, Jew, exists because of Religious Meddling by Popes.
What has him worried is that maybe the Flock today are getting wise to the tricks and deceit used by people like him? Maybe they are realizing that GOD isn’t a mean vindictive entity, and that what people like Benedict teach is not Godly, but is in fact Anti God?
