Obama is once again picking up steam, as he continues to lead in the Delegate count, and yet it is Hilary Clinton offering him the Number Two Spot. Rather a desperate ploy isn’t it, or is it?

Didn’t help her in Wyoming or Mississippi either. Then too, is this about who is on top, or has Hilary Clinton resorted more and more to the race card? I mean look at the recent comments by Ferraro and how Hilary has refused to take her off her committee. Now wasn’t too long ago an Obama aide or advisor called Hilary a ‘monster’ and he was gone. So who really is playing the nasty cards here? Clinton or Obama?

“This is a big win for us,” Obama campaign manager David Plouffe told reporters in a conference call Saturday night. “You saw very furious campaigning by the Clinton campaign. They had more campaign activity than we did heading into Wyoming. They mounted a very aggressive effort on the ground. This is a very important win for us.” (source)

It is interesting to note how the media seems to ignore the exit polling from predominately white states, where Obama wins, yet when it has a big black population, they seem to take great delight in report the racial divide. Like in Mississippi where Obama scored 91% of the black vote, but only 21% of the white vote.

But Mississippi white voters overwhelmingly backed the New York senator, supporting her over Obama 72 percent to 21 percent. (source)

The Clinton Campaign was very quick to jab at the media early on, claiming they were much harder on Hilary, because she is a woman, while ignoring giving Obama similar scrutiny. It was a good ploy, one that once more pitted the issue into race versus gender. The claim that the media is biased for Obama because he is a man, while she is treated harsher for being female seemed to have worked well in Texas, in Ohio. Which makes you wonder about those casting votes.

And the crying continues from Hilary Clinton, as she sharpens her swords and daggers, taking after Obama through her surrogates like Ferraro. If Clinton wins, by a vote of Super Delegates, can we expect an increase in Racial Tensions? I think so, but not because Obama lost as how he might lose. Those tensions are only fanned by the rhetoric of people in the Clinton camp like Ferraro.

Ferraro told the Daily Breeze of Torrance, Calif.: “If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.” (source)

My problem with all this, is how the one who is really pushing a double standard, is the one doing all the complaining, Hilary Rodham Clinton. Obama does take more of the high road, than her, and it is costing him in places like Texas, Ohio. Yet, I don’t know, in the long run it is working for him, despite Hilary’s whining, despite the media bias that is evident, not to mention its continual playing of the Race Card.

I wonder, when will the Voters have a belly full, and simply revolt? I mean there are serious issues out there, and frankly, NO CANDIDATE IS ADDRESSING THEM. You would think too, that the Media would be more in step with the people, after all they are the ones who buy all that crap they sell, so it would kind of make more sense to pander to them, than to the Corporate Morons that put the economy in the dumper.
