Or just tryiing to stir up more trouble? I wonder what Syria’s real intentions are when it calls placing United Nation Peace Keepers on its borders as being an Invasion and unacceptable?

Now we have reports saying they didn’t mind, and then just as suddenly they disavow making those claims. It is like the old Keystone Cops while innocent lives are at risk and not some cartoon characters. (see full story) I wonder just what is Syria up to? I mean they claim they aren’t re-arming Hezbollah, yet they don’t want Peace Keepers to monitor the border between them and Lebanon, even when that monitoring is on the Lebanese side.

Seems rather fishy to me, but what gets me is why is anyone paying attention to Syria? I mean the United Nations passed its resolution, part of the terms is to monitor all entry points to Lebanon to insure that military weapons such as Rockets are not coming in for Hezbollah. Makes sense to me, and is also a condition Hezbollah agreed to, and was a requirement for the ceasefire to take place.

So now once more the Great Debating Society is going to negotiate this? Like WHY?

I simply don’t understand this whole crazy nonsense. Israel removes its blockades before the UN Force is fully in place, thanks to pressure from Kofi Annon and now Annan is trying to negotiate for monitoring? Like will he ever do what the resolution calls for or just browbeat Israel until the next flare up?
