ReviewAccording to the opening credit sequence this skin flick was "adapted to video" by Mitch Koch from his novel Gay Ransom. The sex scenes are vignettes that are book-ended by a story told by two Chicago policemen. Considering the inordinate amount of narrative and voiceover it isn’t hard to imagine that a novel was the impetus for this film. Shot in the style of a classic Bijou video, Sex Without Rules uses a large cast of average-looking to very cute guys (some with absolutely terrifically built bodies) to push the sexual envelope that we are used to seeing in today's run-of-the-mill porn. And while far from perfect, there are some great kinky "thrills" to be found here. |
