ReviewThis is a first-class fan book - essential for all of you Queer as Folk addicts. With an introduction from the producers Ron Cowan and Daniel Lipman that takes us through the initial creation process to an extensive episode index - this is one complete book. We have included a photo gallery above with some sample pages. Each page has at least one photo - whether it be a still from a show or a cast or set portrait - they're all great photos. There are portraits of each of the characters that gives us their personal history (fiction of course.) The episode by episode breakdown for the first three seasons will bring back memories of some of your favorite shows. We love the section called "The Look" where the designers tell us how the make these guys look so hot on screen. There may by some tips for us "ordinary-looking" guys. If you were one of the lucky ones to get the hardcover edition, you got a pretty crummy DVD with it. So now that it's just the paperback edition, don't fret, you are getting the same book, just for a lot less money! |
